The Truth
Jake, for his entire life, lived in total seclusion. Every thing he learned, they told him. They kept him safe from the outside world, they said. People outside would hurt him; they told him when he asked if he could go out side. He stayed in the building, mostly in his small room that had only the things he needed. His white bed, with a gray blanket, that seemed to be as old as time itself and a dresser that held his clothes. Every day when the he heard the high pitched ring he had to tell one of them that he heard it, and then it was time for them to learn about him. He didn't know why they wanted to know more about him. They never told him anything that happened after they put him on his bed and injected him with some liquid that made him fall asleep. After he woke up he was alone in his room and he felt funny. Jake thought these people were nice people.
"We just want to know more about you" the one who taught him said.
"But you already know a lot about me. I've told you everything about my self. I've also told you everything about the nice creatures in my dreams. They say that I'm-"Jake says but he is interrupted by his teacher.
"Yes but we need to know more about the dreams. Now no more about this!
"But-"Jake began"
I said no more about it!"His teacher yelled as he stormed out slamming the door behind him leaving him alone in his room.
He sighed as he laid down on his bed, staring up at the gray ceiling and slowly he fell asleep.
Jake found himself in the middle of what looked like a forest, the place that he always went when he dreamed. He looked around and sighed as he trudged through some brush looking for one of the creatures.
Welcome back!"  He heard a voice say from some where around him.
Jake sighed as he waited for it to get closer to the point where he could see it, and soon enough in a few seconds there it was there.
Jake sighed as he waited for it to get closer to the point where he could see it, and soon enough in a few seconds there it was there.

"Let me guess, there asking more questions about who we are and what we say when you're here" it asks with a light chuckle.
"And they ask what you look like, but I tell them that I don't know... I have to pretend to be stupid so they don't know every thing you have thought me about the outside world and about my self. Speaking of that... when are you going to tell me what you are exactly?" Jake asks"
The creature laughs as it takes the form a human, with short black hair, a decent muscular build and, but if you looked close enough you could see his eyes where as dark as the night sky, but from a distance they looked light brown.
All it dose is laugh at the question. Even if I told you I would make you forget it when ever you leave. If they find out who or what I am it would be bad for both of us.
"Why would it be bad? How come you can't tell me anything?" Jake asks.
You're not a normal human being you know. They have you here for a reason. They've seen your true form. They KNOW what you're capable of and they want to know why.
And I take that you know why?" Jake asks clearly annoyed.
Indeed I do...but I can't tell you...some thing's you have to find out on your own" it laughs, his eyes flashing from black to brown.
Jake just sighed as woke up, back inside his bed, knowing that whatever it is would not tell him what was so special about him. He knew if was going to find out anything about him self he would have to sneak the information.
It was in the morning, he was wide awake, as he was always after the dreams, today he would find out who...Or what he really was...or at least attempt to. He crawled out of his bed, opened up the door and looked around to see if anybody was around. After he saw no one he walked through down a hallway, then stopped behind a corner. He heard two voices. One thing the thing in his dreams taught him was how to fight. It had said that he was born and trained to be something much stronger than he was now... it had told him. But as far as he knew he was just a normal boy... but he also felt that something in the outside world was waiting for him to get out of this...Prison, as he called it in private. He sighed as he realized this was the end of his little attempt. He reluctantly Walked back to his room and sat down. He thought this would be so easy...but he just couldn't start fighting those who had taken care of him all his life... He was a man not a monster.
Suddenly he found him self in the middle of a room, in the middle was a bed, multiple tools around it and a huge window in the middle of the wall, and chairs behind it, a viewing room he guessed.  This wasn't a dream he could remember having a dream like this... but for some odd reason this room felt familiar. Like, he had been here before, if not more than ounce. And he heard two voices. One he recognized. It was his care taker. It was the man that had asked him so many questions. And as for the other voice, he couldn't recognize
"We need more time!" His caretaker's voice yelled angrily"
We've given you time, and incase you haven't noticed were running out of it.
"I know were almost there. The last few tests have reveled half of what he is capable of-
"YOU'VE ONLY FOUND OUT HALF? We've given you millions and you've only found out HALF?!!!"
"It's not as easy as just poking around inside of his insides and doing some tests. We've had to take things out and put them back in to find out what we have. It seems like what ever he sees in his dreams is trying to do anything it can from us seeing what he can do..." The Caretaker's voice said as his vision faded and he found him self in a different room. He saw this person. It looked just like him, but it couldn't be. This person's hair was all scraggily, his clothes torn, his eyes dark black. This person had a Thick black aura surrounding him. He was mumbling something. Something about the truth, why did they hide it from me? Why?" Is all he could make out, as Jake was hit by a sudden head ache.
"Times running out Jake… Tick tock the mouse ran up the clock. Tick tock the mouse ran down and never came back. When your chance for the truth go's it's not coming back jack." He heard the voice from his dreams again as his vision blurred.
He woke up in his bed, his face dripping in sweat. That couldn't have been him! But the voices, the room...  it all seemed to fit together some how...he swore he knew what it all met... he knew what he had to do to find out what he was and why they needed him, and who was the other voice in the dream. But what if it was just a dream? He had a creative mind; it could have been a dream... no... A nightmare... He didn't have an aura... Auras are what hippies believe in...Not him… he shook his head and tried to think what they'd what with him. Was it his ability's? Maybe... did they know that he knew about them? Did they know he knew about the outside world?  He didn't know any more... Then he found him self standing outside... it was raining and it was pitch-black out side but he could see because of a few street lights that were near the side walks and the street. He saw a silhouette of someone running through the night, going into an ally way as the rain picked up a little.
"Hey!" Jake yelled as he jogged after it"
When ever he reached the ally way he say what looked like a women.

This time he awoke angry, or peed or how ever you wish to say it. he didn't know why he was, but he was for some reason these dreams  triggered something inside of him. Something he knew he wasn't supposed to use. He slammed his fists against the door as hard as he could, leaving a small dent in the door, every step he took something that seemed to dissipate when ever he tried to look at it. He knew what it was, but he didn't want to believe it. Aura.. everyone has, but few humans hold a powerful enough aura for it to be seen without practice.

"Come on Jake.. you and i both know you can leave more than a pitiful dent in that." he heard the voice mock him as he became more angry.
with that the light's went out as Jake heard the voice again.

"the doors open Jake. show them how strong you REALLY are. Give them what they deserve. Make them tell you the truth." the voice laughs as the lights flicker on and off.

With that Jake walked out and turned around back to the room, and his room look perfectly normal.. no lights flashed and no dents in the door, as if nothing had happened.

"Why do you do this?"  he yell's and runs down the hallway pushing multiple people out of the way, there eyes in confusion as he ran past them. He didn't know where he was running to, but he had to do anything..something..anything to find out what's so special about him that no one can tell him. he ran and ran, and soon the hallway started down hill, then to steps, witch he ran down, the air  getting more and more colder the deeper he went. Soon he came to a door, guarding it was two guard's with guns. Normally he would of turned back and not chosen to do this, but he knew  he had to do this. He ran into one of them, the other one, caught off guard stumbled back and Jake used his aura to slam the guard against door, swinging it wide open. he went into the door and his eyes opened wide at what he saw.
